Through the internet, there are various organizations you may be interested in learning about and becoming involved with in the future. These organizations will help educate you about your child's disability. They may also advise you on ways to work with the classroom teacher in order to meet the needs of your child. These resources will also clearly define each of the special education laws, discuss the referral process and the Individual Education Plan process.
